Sketchbook Pages

In your sketchbook you will be required to create a new page every two weeks. These pages will be divided into two sections: Front & Back.
(The Front: Your Free sketches and notes from class; The Back: Your Artist & Style Research Pages.)

Further Explanations:

Free Sketches: A drawing, painting, collage, etc. completed in your sketchbook. This is open to whatever you want to complete, maybe a study of something or just something from  your imagination.  It should take up most of the paper with a respect for your composition.

Notes from Class: Things that Mr. A. asks you to include in your sketchbooks (I.E. Value Scales, Color wheel) In addition to notes that you may take during the lessons presented in class.

The Page should be created in the style of the Artist!

Artist Research Page: A page dedicated to an Artist (Artist can be Visual, Literary, Craftsman, etc.)
This page should include:
The Birth & Death Dates of the Artist
Examples of the Artist's work
Describe, Analyze, Interpret
Background Information on the Artist
Judge: Why you chose and admire this artist or why you don't like this Artist

The Page should be created in the style of the Movement or Style!

Style Research Page: A page dedicated to a style or movement of Art  (I.E. Photorealisim, Dadaism, Fauvisim, if it has a isim you are probably in the right territory.)
This page should include:
The Beginning and ending of the style or movement if it doesn't still exist.
Examples of the Style, Highlight some Artists in the style or movement.
Background Information, missions, manifestos of the style or movement.
Why you chose and admire this style, movement or why you don't like this style or movement.
