"Your job is to collect good ideas. The more good ideas you collect, the more you can chooser from to be influenced by."
- Austin Kleon

"Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic."
- Jim Jarmusch

Artists are innovators, makers, problem solvers they are the designers of our future and reflectors of our presence and history. There are a lot of problems with the world: environmental destruction, international terrorism, massive over-consumption, brutal poverty, cross-border trafficking of drugs, weapons and human beings, violence against women and minorities are just to name a few. I need your to recognize and be able to identify some of these problems. The big question is " How do we solve them?"

I really like this definition:

Artist, artisan, artiste are persons having superior skill or ability, or who are capable of producing superior work. An artist is a person engaged in some type of fine art. An artisan is engaged in a craft or applied art. An artiste is usually a skilled public performer.

The Bad Idea Factory

Picture

Come up with as many bad ideas you can come up with...

If you come up with a good idea right that down too.

Examples:

"Make a movie about grass growing"

"Create an invasive species and set it loose in the Monterey Bay Sanctuary."
