Shrunken Heads

In Honor of Hallow's Eve

It's time to get creepy!!!!

No, we are not really shrinking Heads.

But your mission is to sculpt and create a shrunken head. The Creepier the better.

Think about attaching hair, yarn , feathers, beads, etc.
You will want to be prepared by pre-making holes to do this.

Drawing a plan can help you troubleshoot your designs.
How will you display it?
Is it mounted?
Does it hang?

You should be problem solving,
to make your design look really awesome.

You will be graded on:

Creativity
Craftsmanship
Accoutrements
Realistic Features

Have some fun with it.

Techniques

Remember that they can not be solid and have to be hollow
They can be sculpted around something, even mounted on a walking stick.
You should be scoring and slipping everything added. You do not want them to fall apart.
Use Dental tools and wooden fingers to get detailed features. Think about textures.
They should be a sculpture in the round, not boring and flat in the back.

Examples & Inspiration
